Suzuki Hayabusa 2022

Suzuki Hayabusa

The heart that drives this beast up to 299 km / h -it is self-limited- is a 1,340 cc in-line four-cylinder, with an output of 190 hp at 9,700 rpm and 150 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. The power delivery, however, is very linear, having worked on this version with the changes made to the exhausts. The Hayabusa debuts a Ride-by-Wire electronic throttle that provides smooth, cable-like control, so the bike becomes more controllable in the low and mid-range.

Electronics is another important point in the Hayabusa, equipped with the latest version of the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (SIRS) that allows the rider to adapt the engine to his driving style and the state of the asphalt. The aids available are numerous, starting with the Suzuki Alpha Driving Mode Selector (SDMS-a), with three preselected options -Active, Basic and Comfort- plus another three customizable ones. Each of them affects the injection, the ten-level traction control, the anti-wheelie with ten modes, the three-level engine brake and the bidirectional quick change. All this managed by means of a six-axis IMU inertial platform.

In addition, it also has a power mode selector (PW) with three levels that modify the more or less direct throttle response, acceleration control when starting from a standstill -three intervention levels-, a cruise control system and an active speed limiter that allows you to use the accelerator and brake but always with a maximum speed selected by the pilot.
